It Has A Good Beat And You Can Really Reach OT Level IV To It
"Chick Corea's second concept album based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard is a 19-track opus..."
Shit, I have to buy this. As everyone knows, the track record of pieces of art based on L. Ron's fiction is stellar.

Someone we know bought us that movie just because he (a) didn't have a DVD player at the time and (b) wanted to watch it himself, and it's so much worse than you can imagine, but I quote it to Glark a few times a year. I can't quote it to anyone else because they won't have any idea what I'm talking about.

See now, I'd like to see the movie for the sheer terribleness that radiates from it but I am both ashamed and afraid. Ashamed of actually watching it and afraid they will track me down and try to harvest, er... I mean, recruit me.

Please listen to me: it's soul-killingly awful. It's not so bad it's funny. It's so bad it's insulting -- it will actually make you angry that it got made. Don't do it.

I disagree. Jagosaurus, rent the movie. It's so jawdroppingly incompetent, it's worth seeing. You'll give up halfway through, but the 45 minutes or so you do watch is a truly mind blowing experience. The film fails on every single possible level. It's hands down the worst legitimate (as in, "not made on shoe string budget"), studio released movie in the history of cinema. I challenge you to name something worse after viewing it.

Okay, I don't know how y'all managed it but I am simultaneously MORE keen to see it and MORE horrified at the actual prospect.
And I'm really disturbed by the very idea of the Chick Corea concept album.

I really, really need to see it! I am fascinated by all things crappy and Scientology-related...wait, does that mean whatever they're doing is working?

This thread makes me miss Mystery Science Theater like Stee currently misses alcohol.
